How timely - I accompany a violinist. Your tips will help esp. about when the pianist starts first.
You can try some techniques for creating good ensemble. While usually the soloist gives cues, in some music it makes more sense for the pianist to cue. Good luck!
When I play the trombone with my accompanist, she nods her head in time and I have to watch the nod. I like your method better. Wonderful selection of music to demonstrate tempo and balance. Thank you.
