What am I doing? Doing staccatos, right? What is staccatos? Staccatos when you stop your bow. But how am I stopping my bow? Am I squeezing? Am I pressing? Am I... No! I found a way to trick myself. I go and I stop. I used to put a little mark there and I would go, okay, put a little mark and stop. But I didn't have to use a lot of pressure or whatever to... a lot of muscle to make it happen. You know? What can happen from this? Well, now I can do a bow end, down bow staccatos quite easily without a lot of muscle in there. And how am I doing it? I tricked myself.
