You ever watch somebody throw something? I really, really liked watching basketball and much little baseball too. Yeah, a little hockey. In other words, I like sports. But one of the things I noticed was people throw things they throw like this. So, what's that got to do with the violin? I wondered if you throw things like this, you're sort of using your forearm to throw, and your wrist is very pliable, very relaxed, loose, your fingers as well.

I wondered what would happen if I threw a baseball backwards. Same gesture. That's an interesting idea, I think.
