How can I edit the VSM repertoire with it?
Look for the "Open in Playground" (or just "Playground") blue button to open enabled titles into the Playground. Try with the first collection of our basic Christmas Carols to see how it works (if you are not a Member, you may have limited access to that title).
Request to enable new titles by clicking on the "Request Playground" (or just "Playground") button on any VSM item's page.
Search for "VSM Playground" on the site to find titles already enabled.
Join our mailing list to stay updated with its development and be notified as soon as a new feature is released. Feel free to contact us with any questions, suggestions, or ideas or post your comments below.
Hello I have tried making contact with no success.
I am a subscriber and bought a version of Belle from Beauty in the Beast. I received the PDF but I did not receive a mp3 for the music. How can I obtain the mp3 in the key I want.

Hello Denis and thank you for your inquiry here.
I am sorry about our missed reply to your inquiry; it looks like your email went into our spam folder for some reason! We'll get back to you by email shortly. In the meantime, I see that the music you purchased (a Hal Leonard edition) doesn't include MP3 audio files. Only our own edition (VSM) and some Alfred editions include MP3 audio files. All items in our catalog clearly state what it is included, and if MP3 files are included, that's stated in the item's description. I am sorry if this is a disappointment for you!
But I see the music you purchased is interactive, so you can actually play it and play along with it if you like. I hope that'll work for you. If not, please let me know and I'll try to help you in any other way possible.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, that may happen sometimes. We'll work to fix it as soon as possible or to provide a way to adjust the key as needed. I'll keep you posted with any possible updates on that!
How do I upload a pdf of a music piece that has several pages at one time. My last project I uploaded the pages individually. Is there a way to upload all the pages and once for transposition?
Fabrizio Ferrari- moderator, on April 26, 2025 @10:39 am PST
Hi Tricia. Yes, of course, you can drag a PDF file up to 20 pages if I remember correctly. What's important is that the number of systems and staves remains consistent between pages; otherwise, the system can get confused.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
I'm not sure how to describe this problem but here goes. The files I'm working with have several pages. Each page was uploaded to my computer separately. I tried putting them in one folder and uploading the entore folder to the playground but that didn't work. So how do I get all the pages to upload as one song?
I had no problem with a menu popping up when I put the cursor on a note....that was helpful I didn't know the ability to change individual notes was available, BUT I placed the cursor on several places to add the lyrics and no menu popped up with "lyric" as an option.
Fabrizio Ferrari- moderator, on April 22, 2025 @7:40 am PST
Patricia, we have just released a new version that allows you to add Lyrics by just clicking on a note. Once you click on a note, you can "Lyrics" at the bottom of the options list.
Fabrizio Ferrari- moderator, on April 21, 2025 @5:06 pm PST
Patricia, make sure you have the latest version of the Playground we have recently released. Please reload your page and try again. Sometimes web browsers are slow to catch-up new updated pages
Fabrizio Ferrari- moderator, on April 16, 2025 @7:57 am PST
I am sorry about that Roy. At the moment, we don't have printed instructions for the Playground, but we'll consider making them available even though its functionalities should be pretty intuitive.
What are you trying to accomplish? Please let me know, I'll be happy to help you.
Fabrizio Ferrari- moderator, on April 8, 2025 @10:01 am PST
Yes, Sung, that's one of the features of the Playground. Don't expect it to be 100% accurate, though. The quality of the imported music from PDF or images can vary greatly according to the quality of the source. If your music is digitally engraved and not scanned from hard copy, it works pretty well. Also, make sure the number of instruments is consistent throughout the imported pages, and I suggest importing a single piece at a time.
It would be nice to be able to correct in real time some of the notational errors that I've found in parts that were originally composed for violin, but have since been changed to cello and viola tessituras, Sometimes the issue is the registration, and other times, it is wrong notes in the parts.
If I were to want to play the Mendelssohn Violin Em Concerto on the cello, the transposition into treble, bass and tenor clefs of small sections would be imperative. Likewise, on viola, it isn't about just the ability to reach a note, but to not break up phrases. Again, switching clefs throughout, and octive shifting sections is needed.
I want to make practice tracks for my community choir. When two voices, say Sop & Alto, share a staff, how can I separate voice 1 from voice 2? It would be easy to do in MuseScore if the top notes were all classified as voice 1 (maybe with all stems up). Has anyone already programmed something like this?
Fabrizio Ferrari- moderator, on January 26, 2025 @7:12 pm PST
Hi Marc and thank you for your inquiry. That's something our Playground is unable to do yet, but we'll certainly work on such a feature in a future version of it.
At the moment only more advanced notational programs can do that (like Sibelius, Dorico, etc.) I'll definitively let you know when our playground will be able to help with that.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

All the best,
You can use a free service like this one:
https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/merge-pdf.html
Then upload the combined file. Please let me know if that works
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
All the best,
I hope that helps!
Let me know if that works for you!
It shouldn't take more than 3 minutes, actually, 5 minutes max. Something must have gone wrong.
How long is your PDF file? Please let me know.
