Terrific, but NOT for trumpet by David Peters * VSM MEMBER * on July 2009

I absolutely adore this piece, especially because of the emotion which an instrumentalist can pour into it. However, as a "treble-clef-trumpeter", I found it impossible to read this sheet music for viola - very disappointing.
I'd be ECSTATIC to find a new version of this extraordinary sonata, written for trumpet - or flute, clarinet,etc - in TREBLE clef! Don't worry about skill level or range - I can learn to play nearly anything, with enough practice.

I needed a piece for an audition, and it was very easy to download; much nicer than waiting for a week for music to arrive. The piece itself is very clearly printed, complete with bowing and arituclation markings. This arrangement differs from recordings I have, and I like the recordings' arrangments better--more suited for the viola. That's my only complaint.
